The illness has passed and, at the same time, the sciatica episode seems have faded. I'm beginning to think the latter may have been a manifestation of something other than a mere physical injury. Realisation has played its part in the process. The musical is well underway towards its first performances in November. Jon Hollingworth, bassist extraordinaire and friend, continues to send updates re its progress. More thought than actual work on the composition front. Something is in gestation, but the time to concretise the unconscious in musical terms isn't right. Flute practising instead.
