More on the piece for marimba and piano. This has taken over most of my thought processes just now. It seems mistakes are working best in this piece. i.e. fingers placed incorrectly on the piano forming new chords or, at least, chords which weren't intended. Managed a visit to Lancaster yesterday afternoon. It rained heavily. Current listening: David Cross Band's Alive in the Underworld; Fripp and Eno's Evening Star; Arensky Piano Trios. To my ears, it sounds as though Elgar knew the Arensky.
