Andrew Keeling's Diary
|
2008-11-05 - 7:47 a.m. Monday: still exhausted after the Saturday outing. Flute/guitar practising done on the the musical and other things. Jon H. continues to write re the equipment being prepared: a Fender Telecaster, a guitar with which I'm unfamiliar, has been borrowed; Vintage keys will supply the mellotron; an Ovation for the acoustic parts. The cast of Balloons also continue their good work towards the first full performance. A message from Colombia re the guitar quartet, Scry which looks like being premiered/recorded in the not-too-distant-future. Tuesday: C. wrote from NZ. Sounds like they're doing well. More work on flute and guitar which will continue for the foreseeable future. A message from Steve B. saying You Cut The String has a further performance at the Colchester Institute in December. Following the musical, the piece for marimba and piano has to be completed. Also further thoughts about the acoustic album, with two or three more overdubs required before the final mixing.
