Sunday: more work on the marimba and piano piece and then an afternoon walk up Orrest Head from a different perspective. Snow had fallen and it was very cold. Arrived back at the car in rain. Monday: lunch with Steve Fellows in Manchester. Completed the re-read of Joyce's The Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man on the return journey. More work on the marimba and piano piece. An invitation to write another commission arrived.
