Saturday: a walk up Hartsop-above-How. The paths were snow/ice covered. After one and a half miles we felt it wise to retreat as it was much too dangerous to continue. Into Deepdale where it was a little easier underfoot. Sunday: a quick walk round the road at Scorton and then back to the piano accompanying complete by 5-45pm. And then, as if watching a coin fall to the ground in v-e-r-y s-l-o-w motion, a piece of the jigsaw - a very long time in finding - gradually slotted into place.
