Today my son's and mother's birthdays.

Flute practise continues as David Cross sent a couple of ideas for further performance opportunities. The Cross and Keeling album also continues to develop.

The proof copy of the In the Court of the Crimson King book arrived. This is very encouraging. One or two errors in the script have been noted and reported to Mark at Spaceward. However, I'm satisfied that this is the kind of book which I've always hoped to read on popular music. We hope it'll give a reader some insight as to what's actually there in the sonic architecture. Mark has also sent the developing script for the Larks' Tongues in Aspic book. This is a revised version of the CD-ROM. It's another fairly exhaustive tome.

The piece for French horn and piano has reached a sketch for a third movement.

Word from performers about past performances/upcoming performances of several recent pieces. For example, last night Eye of Heart was performed in Newcastle.
