Tuesday: continued to look at the piece with revisions made to it during the course of the day. Then a visit to my mother's with some shopping. Flute practising.

Wednesday: more on the piece. Decided by the evening it was right and a proof copy could be xeroxed the following day. Lawn and hedge cutting. An American ensemble were in touch re a possible composition/arranging project. Waited for a telephone call from an American record company which failed to materialise. David Cross wrote re the artwork of English Sun.

Thursday: xeroxed the piece. Mark Graham sent the entire Larks' Tongues in Aspic text plus score. This was proof read and returned. Mark also added the Caudale Moor video to the website. On the way back from the Post Office a short idea arrived for a possible ensemble piece, with a sudden realisation attached: 'remebering oneself is crucial.' Flute practising.
