Andrew Keeling's Diary
|
2009-09-11 - 7:27 a.m. Another impossibly busy week, mainly spent on copying-up the horn part of the horn and piano piece; listening to and contemplating which piece(s) of Robert Fripp's/King Crimson to arrange for the US ensemble who have been in touch. There's little I can do on either till the beginning of October which is when the i) horn & piano piece ii) two events with David Cross have been done. Then, in terms of creative work, it's probably best - and wise - to take a short break. It's good to leave the land to lie fallow for a time. Mark Graham has prepared the Larks' Tongues in Aspic text and score and sent Robert and myself the material. It's looking very good. He's also preparing an eBook of the Musical Guide to In the Court of the Crimson King which will become available in due course. I've also been hit by some kind of mild of virus since last Sunday: sore-throat, heartburn and, finally, a cough have taken hold. At the moment it's also impossible to take time off all the work.
