Andrew Keeling's Diary
|
2009-09-16 - 7:44 a.m. Saturday: a short evening walk up Clawthorpe Fell seems to have started the process of the return to health after being struck down with a virus over the past week. Yesterday, the horn part was completed and two copies of score and part given to the commissioner of the horn and piano piece. The title of the piece is Wanderlust. Mark has also been sending the completed text of the Musical Guide to In the Wake of Poseidon. This was briefly proof-read and contact made with Jason W. who then sent the score of the title-song he type-set back in 2003. Spaceward Publications are considering the possibility of publishing the book on Poseidon next, with Larks' Tongues in Aspic to follow at some point after that. David Cross has also been in touch re next week's London events. It seems that copies of the English Sun album are to be available for those. Now, for a rest on the creative front while considering two related projects: 1) a Canadian composition/arranging project; 2) the next writing on KC.
